This course is for Advanced level ESL students. It supplements the Contact USA student text which is checked out to students in our Distance Learning Program at Fremont Adult School. Students may log in to review the glossary and complete dictations. This course requires two class meetings. The first meeting is an orientation on how the course is set up and the last meeting is a wrap up session. At the final meeting certificates of completion will be given to those students who completed all the assignments.
- This course is an Advanced-Level ESL course designed for adult education students. It can be used as a stand alone course or as an addition to, a class that meets face-to-face. Each unit has activities that include listening, reading, writing, vocabulary development, and grammar practice.
Before you begin, please take the pre-course survey and the pre-test. You can also review some computer terms. FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING: comprehensive introduction of the guidelines for financial accounting and financial reporting. The course will introduce the accounting framework; rules of debits and credits to identify, classify, and record transactions and economic events and measure their effect on the financial statements.
MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING: a managerial approach on how to integrate accounting data as well as other financial and non-financial information for planning operations, controlling activities, decision-making, budgeting, time value of money analysis, and managerial reporting.
